# Dlaha > Dlaha is a private expense journal for Android, made for rupiah and Indonesian households. Note spending in seconds by typing ("45k makan siang"), scanning a receipt (struk) or speaking. Records stay on the phone: no ads, no analytics, no trackers, nothing sold or shared. Dlaha costs a one-off US$0.99 on Google Play (coming soon): no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. ## Privacy, first - Records live on the phone, in the app's private storage, and are excluded from Android's automatic cloud backup. Dlaha keeps no copy on any server. - No account is needed. Google sign-in is optional, only for Drive backup and household sharing, and Dlaha never receives a name, email address or photo; the server keeps only an anonymous ID. - Receipt photos are read on the phone, even offline, and deleted straight after. Voice entry uses the phone's own speech recognizer; audio is never stored or sent. - Payment alerts are off until the user allows them, read only BCA, GoPay and ShopeePay notifications, and never leave the phone. - Household sharing is end-to-end encrypted. The relay cannot read records and deletes each message once every approved phone has it, or after 30 days at most. - Backups to the user's own Google Drive are encrypted and can be opened only with the phone's key or the user's recovery code. - No ads, no analytics, no third-party trackers, in the app or on this website. ## About the name and why privacy Dlaha is Old Javanese for “in the future”. That is the whole idea: a line you write today is a kindness to the person you will be next month, who wants to know where the money went without guessing. It started as a notebook for our own household. Paper got lost, spreadsheets got skipped, and most money apps wanted an account, a bank login and our data before they would add up a single lunch. So we made the opposite: an app that writes things down quickly and keeps them at home. We care about privacy because spending says a lot about you: where you eat, who you send money to, what you are saving for. That belongs to you and your family, not to an ad network and not to us. So your records stay on your phone, we never ask for your bank login, and anything you share with your household is locked before it leaves your hands. We charge a small one-off price instead, so the app never has to sell you. ## What it does - Quick entry: type a line, scan a receipt, or speak. Amount, date, shop and category are filled in for the user to confirm. - A month calendar, one square a day, plus week, month, year and custom reports with category trends. - Budgets with a daily pace, recurring bills that arrive as drafts, savings goals and wallets (cash, bank, e-wallet, QRIS). - Rupiah first, with foreign amounts recorded at their rate. - Spreadsheet (CSV) export and encrypted backups. - Optional app lock; release builds block screenshots and screen recording. ## FAQ ### How much does Dlaha cost? A one-off US$0.99 on Google Play, or the local equivalent. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. You pay once, so the app never has to sell you. ### Where are my records stored? On your phone, in the app's private storage. We don't keep a copy on any server, so there is nothing of yours for us to read, sell or leak. ### Do I need an account? No. Everything works without signing in. Google sign-in is only needed for Drive backup or household sharing, and we never receive your name, email or photo. ### Can you see what I spend? No. Dlaha has no analytics and no trackers. Records shared with your household are encrypted on your phone, and only your approved phones can open them. ### How does receipt scanning work? Scan a struk or share a photo to Dlaha. It reads the total, date and shop on the phone, even offline, and the photo is deleted straight after. ### Does voice entry send my audio anywhere? No. Voice entry uses your phone's own speech recognizer, only after you tap the microphone. Dlaha never stores or sends audio. ### What are payment alerts? If you allow it, Dlaha turns BCA, GoPay and ShopeePay notifications into draft expenses for you to check. Other apps' notifications are ignored, and alert text never leaves the phone. ### Can my household share one ledger? Yes. Approve each phone with an invite. Records travel end-to-end encrypted, and our relay deletes each message once every phone has it, or after 30 days at most. ### What if I lose my phone? Restore from an encrypted backup in your Google Drive or a file you exported, using your recovery code. We can't restore records for you, because we never hold them. ### Does it handle other currencies? Rupiah comes first. You can record a foreign amount with its rate, and it is counted in your home currency. ### Is there an iPhone version? Not yet. Dlaha is for Android. ### How do I delete my data?
